Have you noticed that you can find an expert to say just about anything? Check out this article commenting upon a blog post from the Hastings Center.
“In a context like the one we are enduring, where scientific evidence is limited and changing rapidly, disagreements among experts can be the rule rather than the exception. When people are asked simply to trust biomedical experts, there seems to be a discounting of the real possibility and the appropriateness of scientific disagreements. Front Line Moral 
The only thing I am sure of is God is in control and Our Blessed Mother’s Immaculate Heart will prevail. Difficult to trust “experts.”

If I spend time learning, researching, and practicing in an arena, then I know more then the next person who isn’t learning that topic, researching that topic, and practicing that topic. In the other person’s eyes, I might appear more an “expert.” Then, one day, someone comes along who knows and understands more about the topic than I, and they’re a greater expert. Yet, no one knows everything about anything.
