It might have something to do with the availability over the counter drugs of Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. These are given out to the population without prescription… Ivermectin is considered a drug of choice for various parasitic and viral diseases. HCQ is an anti-malaria medicaiton. Both are considered to be very safe. IVM may be taken at 10 – 40X the recommended dosage and its main side effect is diarrhea. Both have shown to have prophylactic protection from covid. And both are part of a treatment regiment that cures the inflicted from the virus… That’s what I believe.
